CELTIC, Middle Danube. Eravisci. Mid to late 1st century BC. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 2.82 g, 2 h), imitating an obverse of L. Roscius Fabatus of 59 BC and a reverse of Cn. Lentulus of 76-75 BC. Head of Juno Sospita to right; behind, T. Rev. RAVIS Globe with rudder to left and thunderbolt to right. Davis Class B, Group II. Freeman 11. Nicely toned. The obverse a bit weak, otherwise, very fine.
